Engineering Time Lapse for Video News Release

This was a unique request from Walsh Construction, who is building the replacement bridge that connects Madison, IN and Milton, KY. The engineers on this project are building the spans on shore, floating them into place, and then raising them onto temporary piers. Once the new bridge is complete in 2013, they will dismantle the old one, and slide the new span into final position. It's the longest span ever built this way, and is all the buzz in the world of engineering. I used my Panasonic HPX-3000G and a GoPro2 for this project, and a lot of suntan lotion & bug spray.
